Team Training Mode

Use team training mode so multiple athletes can submit strength at once

Written by James Mckechnie

Team Training Mode lets multiple athletes record strength program results at the same time using one or more devices. This is available on an iPad, Tablet or the Web Platform.

Tablet mode

Open Team Training Mode

  1. Open the Lumin Mobile app on a tablet or iPad.

  2. Sign in with a coach account.

  3. Select Team Training from the navigation bar.

Change Layout (Number of screens)

  1. Select the Setting Cog icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Choose the number of screens to display.

Multiple athletes can still record results when the single-screen layout is selected.

Select and Athlete

  1. Select the blue plus (+) button.

  2. Search/select the athlete you want to add.

Repeat these steps to add more athletes.

Session Management

  1. From the Team Training menu, you can:

    1. Swap athletes between screens.

    2. End or replace an athlete’s session.

    3. Enable rest timers for exercises with prescribed rest.

    4. Use Multi-Tablet Sync to keep devices aligned.

    5. Leave Team Training Mode.

Athletes must already be added to Team Training Mode before they can be swapped between screens.

A coach password is required to leave Team Training Mode.

Web Mode

Open Team Training Mode

  1. Sign in to Lumin on the web, open the Strength drop-down.

  2. Select Team Training feature from the menu.

Add an athlete

  1. Select an empty training cell.

  2. Search for and select an athlete.

  3. Open their assigned strength session.

  4. Select another active athlete to switch the session displayed in a cell.

Athletes can complete their session directly from the Team Training page.

Manage the layout and session settings

Select the settings cog to:

  • Display 1, 2, 3 or 4 cells on the page.

  • Turn the rest timer between sets on or off.

  • Turn Multi-Screen Sync on or off.

Each cell displays a separate athlete session. Multi-Screen Sync lets you use Team Training Mode across multiple devices in the gym.

Example

A coach can display four athletes on one tablet, record their results and swap in other athletes as each person finishes. A second synced device can also be used elsewhere in the gym.
