Posting to the Noticeboard
Use the noticeboard to post important information to your team.
To create a new post on the Noticeboard, click the Noticeboard menu item in the sidebar. In the top right corner of the page, click "New".
On the New Post screen, you can:
Give your post a title.
Select who will receive the post. You can choose "Everyone", or specify users, groups or roles by searching their name(s) individually. For example, you could share with all "Performance Managers" (role) or anyone in the "U18's Mens" group.
Attach files to the post. Clicking the "New attachments" button will show a new window that allows you to upload any type of file for other's to view/download.
Write a body for your post
Enable or disable the ability for others to comment on your post
Click Save to share your post with the specified users.
After posting to the noticeboard, all users that the post is shared with will receive a notification if they have the Lumin Mobile app installed. Additionally, users will receive a notification when:
The title or body of a post is updated
Another user comments on a post
Who can post to the noticeboard?
Anyone with at least one of the following roles can post to the noticeboard:
Administrator
Team Manager
Performance Manager/Head Coach
Medical Manager/Head Doctor
Group Performance Manager/Coach
Group Medical Manager/Doctor
Seeing who has viewed a post on the noticeboard
You can see who has viewed a post by clicking the "Who has seen this post" link. If you cannot see this link, you do not have the right permissions to access to this feature.
After clicking the link, you will see a pop-up, breaking down who has or has not seen the post, and when they first read the post.
Who can see who has viewed posts on the noticeboard?
You can access post analytics if you meet any of the following criteria:
You are the post author
You are an administrator
You are a team manager
Viewing attachments
Attachments are available beneath the post body on both the web and mobile app. Clicking the attachments will either open them, or download them to the device, depending on the type of file and device being used.
Commenting on a post
If comments are enabled for the post, anyone that the post is shared with, as well as team administrators and team managers can write a comment.
After sending a comment, everyone that the post is shared with, including the post author will receive a notification, if they use the Lumin Mobile app.
Email Notifications
Email alerts ensure critical information isn't lost. To turn on email alerts for noticeboard posts for your team's platform navigate to the settings page in the ADMIN sidebar.
