Posting to the Noticeboard

Use the Noticeboard to share announcements and important information with your team. You can send posts to specific users, groups, or roles, allow comments, add attachments, and see who has viewed a post.

Who can create Noticeboard posts

You can create Noticeboard posts if you have at least one of these roles:

  • Administrator

  • Team Manager

  • Performance Manager or Head Coach

  • Medical Manager or Head Doctor

  • Group Performance Manager or Coach

  • Group Medical Manager or Doctor

Create a Noticeboard post

  1. In the sidebar, select Noticeboard.

  2. Select New.

  3. Enter a title for your post.

  4. Choose who will receive the post

  5. Write the body of your post.

  6. Add attachments if needed.

  7. Choose whether users can comment on the post.

  8. Choose if you would like it Pin Post.

  9. Select Save.

After posting to the noticeboard, all users that the post is shared with will receive a notification if they have the Lumin Mobile app installed. Additionally, users will receive a notification when:

  • The title or body of a post is updated

  • Another user comments on a post

Seeing who has viewed a post on the noticeboard

You can see who has viewed a post by clicking the "Who has seen this post" link. If you cannot see this link, you do not have the right permissions to access to this feature.

After clicking the link, you will see a pop-up, breaking down who has or has not seen the post, and when they first read the post.

Who can see who has viewed posts on the noticeboard?

You can access post analytics if you meet any of the following criteria:

  • You are the post author

  • You are an administrator

  • You are a team manager

Viewing attachments

Attachments are available beneath the post body on both the web and mobile app. Clicking the attachments will either open them, or download them to the device, depending on the type of file and device being used.

Commenting on a post

If comments are enabled, users who can view the post can add a comment.

Team administrators and team managers can also comment on posts shared with their team.

After sending a comment, everyone that the post is shared with, including the post author will receive a notification, if they use the Lumin Mobile app.

Email Notifications

Email notifications help ensure important Noticeboard posts are not missed.

To turn on email notifications for Noticeboard posts:

  1. In the Admin sidebar, go to Settings.

  2. Select Noticeboard.

  3. Turn on the email notification toggle.

Mark All As Read

The Mark All As Read button can be found in the top right corner of the Noticeboard feature. This improves the user experience and notification management of the platform.
