Exercise and Session Templates

Save templates to save time creating programs

Templates help you to store reusable exercises and sessions to paste into programs.

Exercise Group Templates

Exercise Group Templates allow coaches to save reusable exercise blocks that can be inserted into different sessions.

These templates are useful for commonly programmed structures such as warm-ups, activation blocks, accessory circuits, or conditioning groups. Coaches can create and organise exercises within a dedicated editor, then reuse the group whenever needed.

Exercise Group Templates can be previewed before insertion and added directly into sessions from the Session Planner, helping coaches quickly assemble sessions without rebuilding common exercise group structures.

To create and save a Exercise Template click on the triple dots on the exercise group.
Then follow the prompts to save the template.

To paste a template into the program you are working on click on the template icon next to the New Exercise button.

Creating and editing Group Templates

  1. Navigate to Strength → Templates → Exercise Groups.

  2. Select New

  3. Add exercises to the group.

  4. Arrange exercises in the desired order.

  5. Save the template.

Save Group Template from programer

  1. Click 3 dots at the top of the Group

  2. Find Save Exercise Group as Template

Session Templates

The process is the same for the session templates.
Use the triple dots next to the session name.
To paste a session template, click on the template icon next to the "Add Session" button.

Creating and Editing Session Templates

  1. Navigate to Strength → Templates → Sessions.

  2. Select New

  3. Build the session as you would in the Programer. Add and arrange exercise groups and exercises.

  4. Save the template.

Rep Scheme Templates

Rep Schemes allow coaches to create and manage commonly used set and rep structures from a central location.

Instead of manually entering sets, reps, or intensity structures each time an exercise is programmed, coaches can create reusable rep schemes and apply them when building sessions.

Rep Schemes can be searched and selected directly from the Session Planner, making it faster to apply consistent programming structures across exercises and sessions.

Creating a Rep Scheme Template

  1. Navigate to Strength → Templates → Rep Schemes.

  2. Select Create Rep Scheme.

  3. Enter the details for the rep scheme (for example sets, reps, or other programming parameters used in your organisation).

  4. Select Save to store the rep scheme.

Once saved, the rep scheme will be available to search and apply when programming exercises in the Session Planner.
